Confirmed Service Customer
Completely honest this message is just so that management is aware how things are ran when they aren���t Around. Purchasing my vehicle from Nikki Abraham a few months back was the best car buying experience I���ve had by far. So I expected the same with the service department. I was sadly mistaken. The oil change was really fast and I thought wow that���s great well, walking up to my car realized there was a reason it was so fast. They rushed it out of there. They didn���t even wash my car. When I pointed it out to the service worker at the desk, he said well look your cars really clean if we wash it it���ll have spots all over it. I was like are you kidding me? This cars filthy how is this clean? I said I guess I���ll have to do it myself goes back to saying if you want something right do it yourself? I shouldn���t even have expected it. But I feel like it was a rush job. Then I checked my tire pressure on the way home sure enough they didn���t even fill my tires. Now I���m questioning. Did they even top off my fluids? And it says it was only a $50 change it was reduced to zero because it was my first oil change but I bet you if I was going to pay for this oil change they would���ve charged a lot more than $50 so now I have to go check my fluids. Go wash my car by hand or pay for a car wash and go get my tires filled up. If I wanted that kind of service, I would���ve just went closer to home and got my oil Change at Dealer not driving all the way to Elyria. So I guess it���s not worth traveling there if you���re gonna have to do half the services yourself anyhow. Great sales team, but the service dept definitely needs an overhaul.

A service member greeted me once I pulled into the garage, check me in with no issues, escorted me to the waiting room, offered coffee. Within an hour the service was completed, my car was washed and I was ready to go. Everyone was nice and professional.

My 2019 GMC was experiencing episodes of over heating, no codes were thrown, just a warning on the screen with the gauge headed to hot. I first took my vehicle to Joyce Buick-GMC dealer, where they charged me a fee for diagnostic testing, could not find anything wrong, except too much coolant in the system, drained it to the correct level. This was on a Friday (June 21st), but on Sunday (June 23rd), once again, my vehicle over heated. I called Joyce Buick-GMC on Monday, where I made arrangements to bring in my vehicle. Meanwhile, my vehicle on the drive in, was "not" over heating, but that is the mystery. It overheats, then fine, then overheats, then fine. Once I got to the service department, they checked for any codes and asked for $190 to do a diagnostic test. I already paid for one on Friday. From talking with a couple other mechanics that weekend - it was suggested that it could either be a thermostat or a cooling sensor issue. I asked Joyce Buick-GMC if they would just put in a thermostat, but was told no. It could be a variety of issues, bring it back when it is over heating. I asked again, could they just humor me and install a thermostat, I will take responsibility if that doesn't correct it - I was told no. Thermostats throw a code, and there is NO code appearing. I need a dependable vehicle, one I can trust to be driveable, because I am in real estate. I was talking with a wonderful car salesman, Bob, at Abraham Buick-GMC where we discussed what was going on with my Terrain. We went to the service area where Kevin listened, asked when I could bring my vehicle in. I currently was at this dealership for my mother's car being serviced for a cabin air filter, so I responded as soon as her car is done, I would drive my Terrain over. A new thermostat was installed, along with a pressure test (?) and my Terrain has been just fine. No over heating issues since. The service department at Abraham Buick GMC has my sincerest appreciation for listening and honoring my request to install a thermostat, even when no code was showing. Big thank you!!!

I had an appointment to drop my car off. I was not feeling well. I called 911 and the ambulance was coming. The guys and gals at the dealership were so helpful. They sent me down in a chair and gave me water till the ambulance got there my car was ready got out of the hospital and they were so gracious. Everyone came to the front to see how I was doing and if I was OK, my car repairs were done and done to exception. After that, I was notified that there was a rebate on my wiper and the rebate was filed by Noreen in the office and I appreciate that so much excellent service by Russ and the guys.
