I was told that the car had an issue with the internal monitoring system and that part of the dashboard needed to be removed so that it would be at least 3 additional hours. I live about 20 minutes away, so I called my daughter to pick me up. Upon her arrival, I was going to leave my number with the gentleman working the counter. He said good news, it was all done, and that they needed to order a new OnStar. Unfortunately, in my experience, the communication between the front desk and the mechanic is an area of need.
